Hi,
I'm trying to set up different Client organisations which connect to different databases. I've enabled the Client Organisation option in administration settings, and also created a Client Organisation and assigned a user to it. I'm a little bit lost on how to then assign this Client to a specific Data source.
When I got into the screen above, and click the drop down arrow to select a data source, there are none to select from?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi,
It sounds like you are trying to use data source substitution.
Once you have enabled client orgs, you need to ensure you have created a data source at the client org.
This can only be done once you have logged into the client, and create the data source.
Once you have the data source, you can log back into the default org.
Then go to the data source you wish you use in the 'swap' and go to the client sources tab (as you have done above). You will then have the previous data source (you created at the client org) in the drop down list.
