Hi David,
We have dashboard embedded on our intranet. However when we click on drill, the detail report is too big and it is hidden underneath another report (of the dashboard). Please advice on how to configure the link to be able to pop up to another window
When embedding a dashboard, the size is taken from the dashboard size settings;
This tab be found under the yellowfin configuration panel
Obviously, if you have set the portlet size in the page itself, the above is ignored.
The child report is always displayed in the same portlet, so the initial size of the portlet will remain the same, it cannot auto-resize depending on the report.
Though we do not understand how this report could be hidden under others?
Are you able to send across a screenshot of what you are actually seeing.
Thanks
David
If I click on the left chart, the drill down report display hidden underneath the right portlet which is very unsightly.
Within Yellowfin UI, it pops up to a model window. Can we achieve the same in jSAPI embedding? I am open for javascript event injection
When embedding the report, it is shown in the report portlet. Any action (Drill-down/drill-through etc..) will be displayed in the same portlet, there is no way around this.
Though I'm still not sure exactly how the report is not fitting correctly in the portlet, as a scroll bar should be displayed if the report is too large for the portlet.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Regards,
David
Are you able to send across your org details so I can attach this task to your record?
You can send across an email to support@yellowfin.bi and reference this post.
Thanks,
David
