Problems of automatic broadcasting of reports. Do I need to have an email server configured?

Thanks for reaching out to support with your question.

In order to send broadcasts in Yellowfin, you do need to configure an outgoing email server, this can be found in the configuration section of the Admin Console -

You will also want to define a broadcast name and email address, this populates the "From" address in the sent email:

Just as a suggestion, I think it would be cool if YF incorporates a messaging system where you get notifications and broadcasts in your YF.
