Type Code of Roles's Permission

When I try to list roles using the provided web services at https://wiki.yellowfinbi.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=20709809 I can see something called "Type Code" assigned to every permission of the given role. I want to know what exactly is it and What function does it perform? Many of the permissions has the value null assigned in Type Code but some has"QL" or "TN" too.

Hi Nikhilesh,

I had to ask the dev team in this one as I could not find any relevant information on this.

This is an old thing where In i4talent you could say where the function link would be shown... So QL means Quick Links, TN means Top Nav. This would determine where the link to the function was rendered in the interface. I have been told that none of the functions in Yellowfin use this code anymore.

Thanks,

Paul
