Hi Sanjeev,

Thanks for reaching out. I believe you're referring to this setting - there should be a 'Labels' section/icon:

/w2ZgnunrVbjAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC

Which looks like this:

/wDf+rzD7vow0wAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==

I tested this with the Line graph and Horizontal Column graphs as well, so the setting should be there.

Note if you're on an older build of 7.4 though there are less chart types that have Label functionality, for example Line Charts were a recent addition.

Is this what you were looking for?

Regards,

Mike

Hi Sanjeev,

Every eligible chart will have a Labels option in the top Toolbar:

/wCT55dJ18BKFgAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==

This will make it so the values are displayed in your bar or above your lines in a Line graph, for example.

If this isn't the setting you're looking for, you may also reference our Wiki entry on Chart Formatting for more detailed information: Chart Formatting.

Mike

The data label option is not available in the Line and Bar chart only.

Please see this from your website

Labels can be added to charts to print out the values of the data point onto the chart in text format. Charts that support labels include line, pie, and bar charts. Note: These settings will differ according to the selected chart type.

Hi Sanjeev,

Thanks for your reply. In my initial response I stated "Note if you're on an older build of 7.4 though there are less chart types that have Label functionality, for example Line Charts were a recent addition."

What build and version of Yellowfin are you running? You can check this by appending '/info.jsp' to your login URL. Example: localhost:8080/info.jsp

Mike

We are using the 7.4 version. Will upgrading it to version 8 will provide the data label? Please confirm

Hi Sanjeev,

What build of 7.4 are you on? Please send a screenshot of the Application Details section of your info.jsp file.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Sanjeev,

Thanks for your reply. As stated a couple replies ago, having this option available depends on what version/build of YF you're on, which has not been confirmed.

I requested a screenshot of the Application Details section of your info.jsp file. You can find this by appending '/info.jsp' to your login URL. For Example, localhost:8080/info.jsp.

You'll likely need to update to the latest build to obtain this functionality, but I can confirm this if given the above requested details. If you want to just go ahead and update to latest 7.4, or 8.0, you can do so here.

Regards,

Mike
