Thanks for reaching out. The only way to accomplish this is to write a custom SQL CASE statement and add it to the custom-functions.xml file, located in <YellowfinInstall>/appserver/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF.
To then use the created Custom Function in a report, you'd create a Calculated Field, select Pre-Defined Formula Type, and the new function should then appear in the dropdown, if scripted correctly:
