Refresh cached filters takes a long time

Hello, we have hundreds of reports and several Client Orgs on our setup, something that users always complain is the time that it takes to refresh cached filters, sometimes you can wait for several seconds to minutes to refresh cached filters, even if the returned values are only a handful. Is there a way for us to optimize this?

We are currently on YF 7.1 20160418 Windows 2012, DB is SQL Server 2014 Ent.

This is not a recent issue, the same happened when we were on v6.3 and SQL 2008

Thanks,

Xavier

Hello Xavier,

Do you have the optimize view check box checked in your view(s)? This is normally checked by default. I just want to know the state of the view before I begin to dig deeper.

thanks,

Matt

Xavier, just following up on this one. Are you still having an issue with this?

So Optimized View check box should be checked or unchecked?

The optimized view checkbox should be checked if you are still having issue with it checked then it might be necessary to begin breaking each filter down. If you are still seeing issues my recommendation would be to test the filters one at a time and check the logs. Let us know how you go.

Apparently we are good when the Optimized View option is on, I have to check some other reports but the ones that I've run seem fine.

Thanks,

Xavier
