Content Folder Visibility Configuration

I have a system administrator account in our system, since I may have to perform administrative tasks from time to time. I am also the chief content creator for Yellowfin at our organization.

I'm finding it extremely annoying that all of the Audit/Admin Reports (Bottom N Dashboards, Logins by Group, etc.) are mixed in with the content that I am creating that actually pertains to our business. Is there a way to hide all of those reports from my browse section while staying a system administrator?

Hi Stephen,

The best way to seperate this content is to not create any reports into these folders that pertain to your buisness, and instead create new folders for that content.

If you want to hide a content folder, set it to private and only give access to one user (not yours) so that only they can see the folders.

If you dont want any of these reports, you can just delete them :)

Sorry for the troubles.

How do I make a content folder private?

Oh I see, you cannot control that at the folder level, only the sub folder level.

Hi Stephen,

Yes that is correct. Please let me know if you run into any other problems with this.
