FTP Broadcast Missing in 7.3

Hello there,

We recently finally got upgraded to 7.3 and a customer shortly thereafter reported that FTP broadcasts were no longer available. Looking around this site, I found a screenshot of a set of broadcast options that's longer than mine, which did feature FTP. The dropdown when I'm creating a broadcast as an administrator only lets me create a personal broadcast.

Is there some reason this functionality would've been available on our 7.2 install but no longer on our 7.3?2940255785e1eaa69d2a947f1fc46aed

Hi Will,

Thanks for your email.

FTP broadcast is displayed depending on your license.

Just wondering if you have recently changed your license.

Please check if the licence is a "Multicast License", if it is not and if you are entitled for Multicast License, please speak to your account manager.

Let me know if you still have trouble.

Hi, Mahesh,

Far as I know we've made no changes, just the version upgrade. Where can I check the parameters of our license? Possible one of my bosses knows, but equally possible everyone around here's forgotten.

Hi again,

Both numbers for Multicast appear to be 4 on our license, so it seems like it should be working. Any more ideas?

Hi Will,

Thanks for the screenshot, it looks like you got the correct licence.

Then it might be to do with the Role, can you please see that "Multicast Reports" is ticked in the Role permissions.
