Hi Paul,

I hope all is well,

Would you be referring to your Profile Picture like the image below?

Hi Mark,

Yep thats the one.

Currently it is setting the attached image against all users.

However I would like to use an image which better suits our brand.

Thanks

Hi Paul,

To set each individual User with a specific Avatar/Image, we would follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to Profile Settings for the User you wish to edit.346cb08f3163a235e8906bc7f1b72c14
  2. Select the edit pencil button.9288066e4d8430fff0b97da4f0798ab0
  3. This will allow you to upload your image501dce58bc1bb4727161220829c92942
  4. Having done this your user will have his/hers unique image.6965b5a8ebbc2b295c381840b43767d4

I hope this helps.

Hi Mark,

Thanks, I can see that this changes it for the individual user.

Sorry I didnt explain myself very clearly.

The blue fish image is currently being set as the user image for all users we create in Yellowfin.

Is there a way of changing this default image so that newly created users are created with a different default image?

Hi Paul,

We have our User Profile Images stored in the following directory:

Yellowfin/appserver/webapps/ROOT/images/

They are listed as:

423896b0400775b3556cb44421f8f279

Try replacing these, log out, clear browse history etc. let me know how you get on.

NOTE: Remember make backup.

Mark
