Hi Avijit,

Any data source that supports JDBC/ODBC/XMLA and SQL will be compatible with Yellowfin.

In cases where this is not available , we would need to develop a special connector.

From what I can see online, Data Lake does not support direct connections via JDBC so I don't think we can natively support this right now.

However my research could be wrong. Are you able to reach out to your provided and ask how to connect via JDBC or even ODBC?

Thanks,

David

Hi, as I have checked it uses custom protocol like "adl://<xxx>.azuredatalakestore.net/" and you need java/.net sdk to connect to the data lake store. Other option to use directly access Rest APIs with proper bearer authentication. So, in Yellowfin can you write our custom adapter to handle this kind of scenario?

Thanks for the info Avijit,

I've raised this as an idea for the devs to create a connector for this.

At this point in time, it's not something that we have planned, though something we can revisit if we hear of more demand.

Please let me know if there was anything else you were after in the meantime.

Regards,

David
