Gradient conditional formatting on table

We are continually coming across an issue where we need to do conditional formatting on the report data using a gradient colour. At the moment we are unable to specify a range or a gradient and need to specify ranges manually as in screenshot below:

What we would like to do is something similar to below:

Thanks

Hi Brad,

Sorry forgot to let you know sooner that this has been flagged as an enhancement.

Is there any estimate when this feature might be available? I regularly have a need to use this type of dynamic conditional formatting and haven't found a suitable workaround yet

Hi Matt,

Unfortunately not as yet. Chart enhancements are always reviewed, though when it comes to planning it's a matter of working out effort/need.

Will keep you posted on any changes.

Thanks,

David

Any movement on this??

Sorry Zack, no plans for this feature as yet. Best bet is to try and do something with a heat map.

If there are any changes we will let you know.

Sorry for the bad news!

David

Any chance for this feature? I see gradient based formatting in tables pretty commonly across other BI tools. Currently vetting Yellowfin as our embedded BI tool.

Hi TJ,

No plans as yet to implement a gradient for conditional formats on tables. If you're after a gradient, you're better served via a heat grid chart.

If you had any specific questions on how to achieve a particular table/chart/dashboard output, please post a new question topic and we will look into it for you.

Thanks,

David
