Fresh 9.8.x.x installation has old default color selection

Hello,

I had wondered about this in v9.8.0.1, now it is the same again in v9.8.1.1.
In your guide "YF9-6 Change Management Document.pdf" you describe in detail the adjustments, but after the installation the colors correspond to the old YF 8 standard. Why?

Is the guide wrong or the installer? What is your real current design idea and which information from the guide is also wrong?

As we are investigating this issue, Could you please help me with the Screen snippets where exactly the colors not taking effect from YF V8 to V 9.

I can do. You see the settings from a freshly installed environment, no update. Below that the excerpt from your documentation about the changes from v8 > v9.

The color selection is definitely still version 8, please clarify.

As I have compared this color's from the YF V 8 TO V9 here is my analysis.

Finally, As I have checked color changes have been effected from V8 to V9, I can see observe most of the colors seems the same but the colour intensity has been reduced because of that it's looking the same as previous versions.

yes, the question is not yet resolved. Have you looked at your update information?
If you count the number of colors of the new defaults alone, you will see that it can't be right.

According to this, the old v8 default has 12 colors, the new v9 default 16. In your investigation, the result is the other way around.

Yes, we have 12 default colors in V8 and 16 in V9 it's clearly mentioned in the change management documentation.

we are approaching the problem. Please look again at your own screenshots above with your last information v8 = 12, v9 = 16.

Do you notice anything? That's right, v9 has only 12 colors even for you! There is definitely something wrong here, you see it now too, correct?

We have an update on this case! Yellowfin Dev team has reviewed this case and confirmed that there is a mistake in the Change management documentation with default color schemas and the chart colors are swapped from Yellowfin V8 to V9.

The team is currently working on correcting the default color schemas in the Change management documentation, I will post an update once the documentation is updated.
