Hello,

I followed the CSV Data Imports - Yellowfin Guide 9 - Global Site (yellowfinbi.com) to create a HSQL database, but got the following error.

/97a88652d1f52edb0a0ef72b72281041

/cb0677f7c9bed12c4eac96125a36ffbb

When I check the default SKI TEAM database, I found the username is SA.

Could you please help me out for this.

Thanks

Heng

Hi Heng,

Thanks for reaching out to support. So you should be able use these instructions to get an HSQL setup going for this -

https://wiki.yellowfinbi.com/display/yfcurrent/CSV+Data+Imports#CSVDataImports-WritableDataSource

That said, you can see the disclaimer that HSQL is not recommended for production use, personally I find setup and maintenance to be much easier using a dedicated RDBMS like MSSQL or Postgres, even for simple testing in my lab. That would be my recommended path for resolution, but let me know how it goes either way.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Heng,

Sorry for a second post but I felt I didnt fully answer your question after review.

It looks like you are trying to use the Ski Team tutorial HSQL Database as a writable source. This wouldn't be supportable unfortunately, I don't know those login creds for example haha. The recommended way to do this would be to create a new HSQL DB with known login parameters and write permissions, and use that for your connection. You can find HSQL documentation here.

https://hsqldb.org/

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Eric
