Resolved

Hi Yellowfin Team,

We wished to host yellowfin to web and access it like a webpage. currently we are accessing in our local network using http://localhost:8080. but we wish to host it and access it like accessing a website over internet by assigning the domain name to http://localhost:8080 like http://www.yellowfinreportsdemo.com.

Please guide us to accomplish this task.

Thanks in Advance,

Karthik K

Hello Karthik,

To be able to use a URL, you will have to setup a DNS entry/proxy to be able to redirect from your webhost to your Yellowfin installation.

This is unfortunately outside the scope for Yellowfin support, but I have found some articles to help you:

I hope this helps,

Best regards,

Pete
