Unable To Edit a Yellowfin Role

Hi team,


I have logged in Yelowfin with default Admin user. i.e. admin@yellowfin.com.au

I am unable to edit any role. Refer the attachment.


Previously I had this option and I am facing this issue recently only.

Refer the attachment.


Clarification:

1) When will it happen?

2) How to avoid this issue?

Hi Chandrakumar,


Can you please send us the following 4 files from your Yellowfin config db.

The 4 different tables are:


1. IPclass

2. IPrltshp

3. Staffmemberrole

4. Person


If you can send the data to us we will investigate and let you know the cause of the issue.

Thanks for the immediate response.

I like to alter my initial question.


I have analyzed and found that roles are not able to edit since those are in Default client organization and I tried to edit those from some other client organization.


Now my question is:

The roles which are available by default or newly created in Default organization, cannot be edited when we are in some other client organization. Is it correct?


Please clarify.

Yes, Roles which are available or newly created in Default organization cannot be edited when you are in the client org.
