Filter "apply" button doesn't do anything until an option is changed when autorun report is disabled

Defect Fixed

We have a lot of reports with "autorun report on load" set to off, so the user will be required to set filter values and press the "apply" button (previously labelled "go") in order to load results. A lot of the time, however, the user might be happy with the default filter values and want to load the report without changing any filters.

In previous versions of Yellowfin, you could press the "go" button to load results using the default filter values. Now, however, if you open a report where autorun is disabled, the "apply" button doesn't do anything, and you have to press the "reset" button instead. The "apply" button will only work if you change at least one filter option.

Is this expected behaviour? It doesn't seem intuitive for a user to have to press reset to apply the default filter values when they open a report.

We are using the latest version, 9.2.2. The previous version we used, 8.0.3 had the expected behaviour of the "go" button running the report without having to change default filter values.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for your help. Would you have any idea of an ETA for this to be resolved?

Thanks

Hi Simon,

The Apply button is now working as expected, however the "Autorun Report on Load" option is no longer having any effect. All reports are autoloading, even if that option is turned off for the report. Should I open a new ticket for this issue?

Thanks
